If you want to add a touch of old charm to an event, one of the best ways to do that is to utilize old table linens, napkins, china, and silverware. An added benefit to going this route is that it might actually save you some money, if you already own the items. If you don’t already own the items, try asking family members who would already own them and see if they would be willing to lend them to you.
If you still can’t find the items you need for your event, try finding a local china resale store. From what I have learned in the past, the china and linens sold at the resale shop are generally much cheaper than renting them and in good enough condition to use at an event. And the added benefit is that you have great classic china or linens that you like after the event!
