On a beautiful day, like today, I always find myself listening to this song on repeat. It’s a song that reminds me of my friends from college, Martyrs Park, Old Zinnie’s, Rhodes, random road trips… and everything else in between! Reminiscing on an earlier life that I wish could have lasted longer.

Generally, I wake up early in the morning and get things together for the blog post that I intend to publish later that day. Our morning routine does not usually gear up until about 7:20, so I have about an hour to get things together for my posts. While I pull inspiration together from old projects, peruse recent pins on pinterest, or just surf the web for ideas, I’ll listen to a little music in the process.
Well, apparently today I cannot over come the spell that this song, ‘Somebody That I Used to Know,’ by Gotye, has put on me. I’ve been listening to this song for a while now, so I don’t understand why today I can’t seem to step away from it. Maybe I am just having one of those weird moments. I think there is something about the song that reminds me of music that I loved growing up {almost a mix of Paul Simmon, Phil Collins, Sting} and music that I love listening to today.
